Applications are welcomed from Physiotherapists who are ready to expand their skills at specialist level. We are able to offer you the opportunity to join our Physiotherapy team at Furness General hospital providing acute physiotherapy assessment and treatment.

You will develop your skills in a range of roles including Medical / Rehabilitation including Stroke / Surgical / ICU / Orthopaedic /Trauma caseloads. In addition you will become part of the weekend and on-call rota with training provided to meet the competencies required for the role.

Duties will include the support and supervision of Band 5 Physiotherapists and Technical Instructors, and you will develop your skills as a Clinical Educator, supporting undergraduate Physiotherapy students.
Support will be given to develop your knowledge and skills within our friendly team with support from experienced Advanced Physiotherapists.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period. This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
