''A great place to be cared for; a great place to work''

Would you like to be part of a dynamic team delivering high quality Bladder and Bowel care?

Do you want to work for a Trust which

  • values inclusivity?
  • invests in you with ongoing in-service training, development and supervision from expertly trained clinical specialists?
  • is at the start of a transformational journey where collaboration between sector partners is core business?
  • values and invests in YOU?

If this sounds like you why not come and see what UHMBT, the country’s 7th most inclusive employer, has to offer. We are a multi-disciplinary team who would welcome you to join us.

We are looking for a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Bladder and Bowel specialist service based in Heysham, North Lancashire.  You will support the delivery of high quality care to patients in a variety of clinical settings for example (clinic, patients own homes and care homes).   Providing specialist physiotherapeutic assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice for a range of frequently complex conditions related to bladder and bowel care and continence for adult male and female patients on their caseload.

What will we offer you?

  • A supportive team environment which values the input of the team
  • A structured two-way appraisal process to support your ongoing development
  • In-house recognition schemes
  • A focus on employee involvement where your contribution is valued
  • Encouragement for your professional development
  • A relocation package for prospective applicants living more than 60 miles away
  • Opportunity to be part of our transformational programme of combining acute and community services
  • Excellent location of our sites near the Lake District to support a healthy worklife balance

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
