An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent L&D trainer/facilitator within the Learning and Development team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.

If you are passionate about learning and development delivery to a wide variety of people from our staff of 8000, in an ever changing environment the we would love to hear from you. If you are happy in front of groups of learners from all sorts of professional backgrounds and grades, as well as being happy to deliver training from across our personal and professional development programmes then you will fit right in.
You'll be joining a creative, enthusiastic and supportive team at an exciting time. This role is fundamental to our ambition to create an outstanding organisational culture. The delivery of training will be virtual as well as face to face cross bay and may involve offsite locations.
As well as these core activities, you will work as a consultant to the organisation, bringing your own expertise in staff development to design, deliver and evaluate high quality learning experiences.
Contribute to the programme of activity, e.g. management development, talent management and personal development, delivered by the L & OD Team.
Deliver an effective learning and development service to our staff and respond to development needs of our workforce, which ensures our patients receive high quality and effective care.
We operate from three main hospitals-Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.
WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.
All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
