Working within the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit, the main duties of this post will involve aseptic preparation of Chemotherapy drugs and CIVAS for patients across the organisation. You must be able to work as a team member and on an individual basis.
The Pharmacy Department at Royal Lancaster Infirmary is looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated person to join the team.
Working Pattern is 25 hours per week Monday to Friday
Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.

Previous Pharmacy experience and experience in an aseptic unit is essential and an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy services, or other recognised dispensing qualification is desirable, together with competent IT skills and good basic education including English and Maths to GCSE level.
