Our aim is to ensure all our patients have access to appropriate treatment in the right location. Our approach to stroke services will require a degree of flexibility as well as creative thinking to establish and form new pathways of care. You will be providing care across the pathway within the acute and community settings.
UHMBT has an active strategic clinical network for stroke within the region which ensures oversight of continuous professional development and strategically influences stroke care within this region. The stroke team are supportive and committed to providing excellent care to all stroke patients

Our Integrated Stroke Pathway has received significant investment to further support a collaborative approach to providing stroke services across the Bay. The Introduction of an integrated community stroke team aims to ensure all our patients have access to the appropriate treatment in the right location.
Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
