We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and pro-active Radiographer to take up a permanent, part time - 30 hour, band 5 position at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.  

This is a busy department which carries out of full range of investigations, including A/E, Out patients, In patient investigations, theatre work, fluoroscopy, interventional, MR, CT, U/S and Radionuclide Imaging.

You will undertake a wide range of imaging work including A&E, General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Dental Radiography and a variety of Theatre procedures. This provides an ideal opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly and supportive environment.

We are a forward-looking department with opportunities for training and role development. Existing members of staff perform and report Barium Enemas, perform Hysterosalpingograms, perform CT colonoscopies and report plain films examinations.

You will be expected to participate in the 7 day radiology shift system covering out of hours service, weekends and bank holidays.

Anyone newly appointed to the Trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
