An opportunity has arisen within our Surgical & Critical Care Division for a Floating Secretary.
Excellent communication and customer care skills, administration and advanced typing experience is required for this post. You will have daily contact with patients, medical and nursing staff and all relevant stakeholders.
You will be expected to contribute to ensuring each speciality achieves performance targets, efficiencies and an excellent administrative service.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
The postholder will be expected to provide a robust and
comprehensive secretarial and administration service to the
Surgery & Critical Care Division supporting the Team Leaders, the
Service Managers,Consultants and their teams.
The postholder will be responsible for the support of the clerical
staff within the relevant specialty teams and will act as secretary to
relevant medical staff.
To work withTeam Leader to ensure no Trust targets are breached,
ie 18 weeks and cancer targets.
