Job overview

This post is only open to current employees of University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. 

We are looking for an  individual who are experienced in administration and clerical to join the Acute Frailty Nursing team 

 This post is for 6 months . Covering the 7 day  service

Main duties of the job

You should be able to:
Provide high quality administrative and clerical support to clinical staff and managers
Have excellent IT and keyboard skills, including Excel
Work as an effective team member and work with minimum supervision
Have the ability to work flexibly

Working for our organisation

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.

Education and Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good general education
  • Knowledge of clerical / admin systems and processes
  • Basic numeracy and literacy.
  • IT skills at basic level – word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, Internet searching.
Desirable criteria
  • ECDL or equivalent or willingness to undertake

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, using both written and verbal means
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
